it's about the client, the customers, the audience, the environment, and the place where all of these things meet

i take the time to get familiar with your brand voice and persona, your goals, and your ideal customers' needs and wants so that i can write copy that joins all the dots. 

i have worked with and learned from many talented agency owners, businesspeople and marketing professionals, and developed a skillset that has made me an asset to many great teams, from fresh, energetic start-ups to multinational companies and everything in between. 

my experience

my career began with an internship-turned-editor position at music news website AAA Backstage. during that time, while completing my degree, i also worked briefly for agencies such as Soho Media Group and JSAcreative, producing copy that was used in social media posts, website pages, and even a government advertisement that was eventually commissioned and produced.

i started my own business in 2017 and worked with a range of clients, from home designers to seedling tech companies, before putting it on hold for a while to focus on my first full-time contract role with Ashurst, an international law firm. 

from there, several full-time agency roles followed, and i had the privilege of writing for female entrepreneurs (Flourish Online) and agricultural and professional services businesses (Sketch Corp), all the while maintaining my freelance writing commitments with Dejan SEO and, more recently, Excite Media. 

in my most recent role, i worked as the Managing Editor of an emerging publication for One Mandate Group, leading a team of interns, commissioning articles, and liaising with a team of designers and sales professionals to pull together a digital book.
